A good date isn't just about the location—it's about having something to share. Axe throwing gets you involved, learning, and laughing together right from the start.
Break the ice. By doing an activity right from the start, the conversation flows much more naturally, which is especially helpful on a first date.
It has that competitive edge. You can challenge each other, compare scores, and see who has the best aim. And there's always the chance for a rematch.
No experience is necessary. Our instructors will teach you from scratch and guide you throughout the activity.
The event doesn't end once the launch is over. Afterward, you can stick around for a mead, a craft beer, or a soft drink and continue the gathering in our bar area.
And if you're already a couple, it's also a different way to break out of your routine and do something together that you probably don't do every weekend.
To enjoy the experience, you just need to keep a few things in mind:
Come dressed in comfortable clothes. You don't need any special equipment to throw.
Closed-toe shoes are required. For safety reasons, you may not participate in the activity while wearing sandals or open-toed shoes.
It doesn't matter who wins. Well... that's what we say now. Once the competition starts, you'll probably change your minds. 😉
Please arrive a few minutes early. That way, we can check you in and start the activity on time.
And, above all, come ready to have fun. You don't need any prior experience—we'll teach you how to throw from scratch.
If you're looking for a unique date in Barcelona and want to break away from the typical dinner, movie, or drinks routine, axe throwing can make a date a lot more fun.
At The Axe Club, you'll learn how to throw axes from scratch with the help of our instructors, practice together, and even compete to see who has the best aim.
No prior experience is necessary. The activity combines learning, competition, and lots of laughter, so it works especially well for couples and first dates when you're looking for a unique way to break the ice.
And after you've thrown your darts, you can hang out in our bar area, try some mead or craft beer, and continue your evening playing darts, foosball, or board games.
A different kind of outing, a little competition, and probably a story to tell afterward.
Scheduling your appointment is very easy. All you have to do is book an axe-throwing session and arrive a few minutes early to check in.
To start, one of our instructors will explain the safety rules and throwing technique. Then you can practice, take part in different games, and see who has the best aim.
You can choose a 1- or 2-hour session, and no prior experience is required. Just remember to wear closed-toe shoes, which are required to participate in the activity.
The Axe Club is located at 181 Castillejos Street, Barcelona, very close to the Sagrada Família.
